Comfrey Extract in Skin Care Products

The roots of the lush green Comfrey plant (Symphytum Officinale) which is native to the United States and Europe contain a powerful substance called Allantoin. Allantoin is found within the root mucilage that the comfrey produces, and accelerates new skin cell growth while also being a natural anti-inflammatory agent.
